Monday 30th May it was all over and time to wave off the departing barges and then be waved off ourselves. Again we had managed to meet up with old friends and made some new friends and put some faces to the names we had read on emails on the DBA list.
So, with Pete helping on the ropes we sprung off the quay using the bow line and turned around to starboard to head off to the Sambre.
Some blasts on the horn and some waves and we were away.
